Once upon a time, Charlie K signed on to adapt Philip K. Dick's A Scanner Darkly. He wrote the script, but the film has been bounced around assorted production companies, with different directors attached to the project at various times, and Charlie's screenplay has fallen by the wayside, read by very few and unavailable online or for sale. Until now.

Download Charlie Kaufman's A Scanner Darkly adaptation in PDF format. (Acrobat Reader or similar required.) I'll be donating several of my internal organs to a certain source who mailed me the script, and another source who PDFed it. Oh! And consider yourselves warned: the last page is missing. But the final line of dialogue on the second-last page is the same as the book's final line, so you aren't missing anything - probably just "THE END" and "FADE OUT."

Spread the word, I could use the exposure. Human Nature PDF coming soon, too.
